If yesterday's fiasco down the coast is anything to go by, Maori must be the studpidest race on earth.

One of Maoridom's own daughters, long time shit-stirrer and activist troublemaker Donna Awatere Huata, convicted fraudster, ex Parliamentarian and one damned ugly woman was yesterday released from prison after only 8 months to serve the rest of her fraud conviction sentence (for stealing $80,000 destined to provide books and education for underprivileged Maori kids so that she could get her fat belly cut off) on home detention. Funny, she was against home detention when she was in Parliament.

Add two-faced to her list of personal attributes.

Here she is, riding home to adulation and glory from the very children she stole from, in her Mercedes with the convicted fraudster husband Wi Huata driving (you probably can't see him, cos all her frizzy, dyed bonde hair is in the way) .



The Herald says:

Awatere Huata - who was convicted of fraud and jailed last September - was given an enthusiastic welcome home by about 20 children from the local Bridge Pa kohanga reo, near Hastings.

The youngsters lined the driveway of her home waving banners and placards in a greeting akin to a hero's homecoming.

Awatere Huata and her husband, Wi Huata, were last year found guilty of four charges of fraud and one joint charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

They stole more than $80,000 from the Government-funded Pipi Foundation, set up to help underprivileged Maori children develop literacy and social skills.

It is understood the Parole Board would not allow the community to hold a welcome function for Awatere Huata at the kohanga reo yesterday.

When Awatere Huata arrived she did not get out of the car, but waved to the children lined along her drive.

The children then performed a haka for her.

Awatere Huata continued to her house, but returned a short time later, accompanied by her husband, and spoke with waiting media representatives.

Awatere Huata's sister-in-law Huia Huata said children at the kohanga reo wanted to "wish Aunty Donna all the best".

She said everybody had been looking forward to Awatere Huata's homecoming, "particularly her children who haven't seen her for more than three months".

We wish Aunty Donna all the best, too. The best cell in the best prison in the country for the longest time she can be incarcerated there - it's taxpayer $$ very well spent. She is nothing more than a lying, thieving, cheating POS. That's what a fraud conviction means - that you are scum and this scum belongs in jail.

PS they should also jail the dumbass who told Donna that ugly, old Maori women looked good with frizzy, bleach-blonde hair. YUK.
