Look what I found when I was tidying up:


It's my ticket stub from the 1989 "Love Town" tour - the great U2 and BB King.

That really was some concert.

We spent the final 30 minutes sitting out in the trees just outside Western Springs in a light fog all backlit by the stadium lights with 15 other people, handing around a joint (or 10). The acoustics outside were MUCH better than the sound quality inside.

Absolutely magik.

I wish I hadn't lost the stub from my ticket to the Eagles "Hell Freezes Over" tour concert in November 1994. That concert was magik, too.
